Stakeholder Engagement

We generally define stakeholders as those people or groups who significantly affect, or may be affected by, their business activities. Excellence in stakeholder engagement helps deliver value and ensures it does so socially and environmentally responsibly.

Relationship

We use two-way communication processes with stakeholders to reach better-quality business decisions. We strive to engage stakeholders early and often. Engaging with stakeholders means listening, providing accurate information, and responding to stakeholder interests promptly and consistently.

Shared Values

Our seven Core Values are the heart of our commitment to stakeholder engagement. These values guide us in our interactions with stakeholders. The following principles are used as a filter to test and align engagement activities:

• identify and consider the perspectives of our stakeholders;
• be visible, present, and approachable in the community;
• track, measure, and report on our performance to learn and improve.
